Saudi Arabia: Three killed after attack in a mosque

At least three people killed and ten are wounded in Saudi Arabia today after an explosion happened on a Shi'ite Muslim mosque late today and followed by gunshots.

Based to what witnesses told in saudi owned media with an audio testimony sent to Reuters by a local activist an explosion was followed by shooting in Imam Rida Mosque in the town of Mahasen in the al-Ahsa region of the oil-producing province.

In particular based on what witnesses said "The explosion happened outside the mosque, at the courtyard of the mosque, while another one entered with a machinegun. There are martyrs and wounded,".

Until now there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
