Not very flattering comments used the financial elite that gathered at the World Economic Forum conference in the Swiss resort of Davos to describe the U.S. presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Many discussed Trump's position with the words "Unbelievable", "embarrassing" even "dangerous" showing how alarmed they are at the prospect he could be the Republican canditate.
During discussions in Davos some also said this could alter the U.S. political environment, giving vent to new populist anger on both sides, furthermore Trump's nationalists rhetorics were never the popular enough to appeal in the crowd that typically gathers in the annual Davos economic forum.
An example of what the circles in Davos were discussing gave Chile's Finance Minister Rodrigo Valdes saying "
“Clearly it is not a rhetoric that is inviting for integration,"referring to his comments on the campaign trail. "In Chile we have a deep view that integration of the Americas is a good thing, whether it is goods, financing and yes people. So I’d be happier with a more welcoming rhetoric."
