Julian Assange: Assange wins U.N. ruling on 'arbitrary detention said BBC

Arbitrarily detained seems to be the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange according to a United Nations panel, BBC reported on Thursday.

The U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has been considering a request by Assange for a ruling, however till now no comment was made.

The 44 year old Assange, took refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in June 2012 to avoid extradition, after rape allegations happened in Sweden.
