Julian Assange should go free, a U.N. panel ruled on Friday. WikiLeaks founder according to UN panel should be allowed to go free from the Ecuadorian embassy in London and also to be compensated for the three-and-a-half-year arbitrary detention.
Assange, since June 2012 has been holed up in the embassy of Ecuador to avoid a rape investigation in Sweden.
Both Britain and Sweden claimed that Assange had entered the embassy voluntarily and is not deprived of his freedom.
