Eight refugees injured by violent incidents between Syrians, Afghans at temporary shelter in port of Piraeus





At least eight people hold minor injuries in the latest attempt to break out at temporary shelter hosting Mideast refugees and other third country migrants in Piraeus.

The most recent incident took place late Wednesday evening at the port of Piraeus between Syrians and Afghans
The rock throwing violence between the two groups caused  

by an Afghan man’s advances towards a Syrian man’s wife, although police have not confirmed the cause of the violence.
The violence stopped with the appearance of riot police on the scene.


The incident took place at gate E2 and E1 at the port of Piraeus, where some 5,800 people are being sheltered after having been ferried over from various Greek islands.
