The bodies of 12 Nepalese security guards killed by a Taliban suicide bomber in Afghanistan's capital earlier this week have been flown home to Nepal.
Grieving relatives and top government officials including Nepal's prime minister received the bodies Wednesday at Kathmandu's airport.
The chartered plane also flew back 24 other Nepalese security guards who worked with the ones killed. They quit their jobs and decided to return home, saying they feared more attacks.
Fourteen people were killed in the attack, including 12 Nepalese citizens. The remaining two are believed to be Indians.
The bomber struck a minibus that was carrying the guards to work Monday morning.
